A Family-Run Building Company for Failsworth
Open Wide Building Solutions is a family business with more than 35 years of experience, and a local builder for homes in Failsworth and across Greater Manchester.
Who we are
We are a family-run building company from north-east Manchester: Kyle runs it with his family. Between us we have more than 35 years of experience, most of it spent on the parts of a house that face the weather: windows, doors, roofs and rooflines.
Our building services range from a single composite front door to a full set of A-rated windows, from slipped slates to a new flat roof on an extension, and from new guttering to a bespoke staircase. The windows and doors we fit are made in Britain and come with multi-point locking.
When you get in touch, you deal with us, not a call centre. We come out for a free survey, measure up, talk you through the choices and give you a clear quote. If you go ahead, our own team does the work: we do not hand it on to subcontractors.

Kind words from our customers
Reviews from our Google profile and from customers of our main website, in short.
The house holds its heat far better since the team fitted our uPVC windows and doors. They worked steadily, left everything clean, priced it fairly and the finish looks great. We would have them back without a second thought.

OWBS replaced my front door and managed to match its colour to a photo I gave them, and it came out spot on. The door arrived quickly once it was ordered, and they fitted it well.

They came on a Tuesday to measure our porch for a new door and window, and both were in by the Saturday. Brilliant, and reasonably priced.

We had a composite front door and a set of French doors put in. A really friendly team, and the price was very reasonable as well. We cannot recommend them enough.

They have just fitted my new door and done a fantastic job of it, at a good price too. I would happily point anyone their way.
